Starts as a transparent yellow and develops into soft pinks, eventually reaching purple tones if struck long enough. Color develops in the kiln around **1075°F**, with final results depending on thickness and layering. The color may appear to clear when brought to a fully molten state; reheating will restart the striking process. Works well without needing incased and does performs best in a normal oxidizing flame
